Introduction
Dr. Jeffery Palen is an obstetrician/gynecologist who specializes in complicated pregnancies, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and the surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse.
He chose a medical career because it combines his passion for science with his strong desire to help others. He enjoys the field of women’s health because it enables him to be involved in all the different stages of life and to follow his patients over time.
“I love delivering babies,” he adds. “I also enjoy performing surgery to restore health and function so women can live life to its fullest.”
In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Palen has presented and lectured extensively regarding many women’s health issues, including hormone replacement, evaluation and management of abnormal Pap tests, and evaluation and management of endometriosis.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Palen enjoys traveling around the country attending blues music festivals with his wife.
