Infusion therapy involves the delivery of medication or medical nutrition through a patient's vein or digestive system. If you require long-term treatment, receiving this therapy at home can be convenient and cost-effective. It allows you to be comfortable and return to most normal activities while receiving the healthcare you need.
Home infusion may be an option for several medical conditions, including:
- Cancer
- Certain gastrointestinal diseases
- Congestive heart failure
- Dehydration
- Infections that aren’t responsive to oral medications
- Pain
- Tube feedings
Receiving Our Services
Receiving home infusion services requires an order from your provider. After completing an assessment of your support system and medical history to ensure you are well-suited for this service, you and any caregivers will receive education and training from our pharmacists, who are on-call 24 hours a day to assist you.
Medications are prepared in our pharmacy and can be shipped or delivered to your home if you are unable to pick them up.
