Midwives are highly trained, valuable members of our obstetrics team at Benefis. They provide personalized support and maternity care for mothers, babies, and families throughout pregnancy, delivery, and the weeks following birth.
At Benefis, our midwives partner with board-certified obstetricians to provide the most comprehensive care possible. If a complication develops, your midwife and obstetrician will work together to support you.
Benefis Midwife Services
Some families enjoy the extra level of personal support that midwives offer. Midwives encourage parents to be actively involved in how they would like the birth process to go and support them throughout their journey. They respect the family’s decisions about their birth experience and abide by those choices as long as they don’t compromise the well-being of the mother or baby.
While midwives strive to ensure that there are as few interventions as possible during your pregnancy and delivery, they — along with other members of the Benefis obstetrics team — are ready to manage all possible circumstances that may develop.
