Hand Therapy is a type of rehabilitation performed by an occupational therapist on patients with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremities
Every patient's treatment program is individually designed by a therapist in accordance with the patient's medical and personal history, the diagnosis and the length of recovery for the condition.
All therapy is performed by an occupational therapist with a high degree of specialization that requires continuing education and most often advanced certification. A prescription for Occupational Therapy is required from a Physician.
