Rehabilitation Unit
The Rehabilitation Unit at Benefis serves patients who have complex functional needs in a private and collaborative setting.
Our 20-bed specialty unit treats patients 9 and older who have functional impairments following
strokes, multiple traumas, brain dysfunctions, spinal cord dysfunctions, neurologic disorders, orthopedic disorders, amputation, and those who suffer functional deficits after a long illness. Benefis Rehabilitation offers an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach of patient management.
The rehabilitation team includes physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, rehab psychologists, rehab nurses, social services, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists.
The unit is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
